2009 Mourvèdre

Until now, this varietal has solely been used as a blending component at Airfield. The 2009 vintage exuded such complexity and balance that we felt compelled to showcase it as a stand-alone wine. Layers of white pepper, truffle, spice, oak, dark plum, and blackberries unite in an exceptional harmony of flavors. Full-bodied with velvety tannins, this well-balanced wine pairs great with lamb, braised short ribs, peppered steak, and richly flavored stews.

2010 Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir grapes grown on our estate vineyard have historically been sold to other wineries for production of sparkling wines. 2010 proved to be a cooler than normal growing season, developing outstanding Pinot Noir fruit, spurring us to produce our first lot under the Airfield label. With limited production of 2 barrels, this complex wine showcases layers of raspberry, rose petal, sweat oak, spices, and black tea with a soft lingering finish.
