2009 Fly Girl White

Viognier, Gewürztraminer, Roussanne, Chardonnay

This white blend pays tribute to the “Fly Girls” of WWII. With a fearless commitment, these female pilots transported military aircrafts from the factories to the airfields. Similar to these pilots, this wine is delicate, feminine, and complex with overlapping flavors of white peach, pineapple, and a touch of citrus. 2009 Gewürztraminer

Showcasing its slightly sweeter side, this wine exhibits aromas of candied pear, lychee, and floral notes. It is gracefully refreshing with crisp flavors of Asian pear and hardly a detectable sliver of residual sugar. 2009 Ruby Rosé

At Airfield Estates, we get our customers involved. Each year, during the second weekend in October, we have an annual foot stomping harvest celebration. This year Syrah & Grenache grapes were foot stomped by adventurous wine drinkers. They jumped in harvest bins, rolled up their jeans, and got to work. If you have never experienced wine grapes between your toes, it is truly a one of a kind experience.

2008 Late Harvest Riesling

This Riesling was picked on November 15th, 2008. The late harvest concentrated the fruit and helped bring forward flavors of honey and apricot. Crisp acidity creates a pleasing mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Pairs perfect with warm apple pie.

2009 Late Harvest Gewürztraminer

The grapes were picked on November 16th, 2009. This late harvest helped concentrate the Gewürztraminer’s sugar levels to produce a rich, creamy aromatic wine with delectably sweet flavors of lychee and pear. Enjoy with cheesecake, fresh berries, and creme brulee.
